RapidFor™ Helicobacter Pylori (H.pylori) Antigen Rapid Test

The RapidFor™ Helicobacter Pylori Antigen Rapid Test is a rapid immunochromatographic test for the qualitative detection of Helicobacter pylori antigens in stool samples.

Helicobacter pylori is a common bacterial pathogen associated with various gastrointestinal diseases, including chronic gastritis, duodenal and gastric ulcers and functional dyspepsia. Studies also show a link between H. pylori infections and the development of gastric carcinomas. Eradication of the pathogen through combination therapy with antibiotics and bismuth compounds usually leads to clinical improvement.

The RapidFor™ H. pylori Antigen Rapid Test reliably detects the presence of H. pylori antigens in stool and is therefore ideal for initial diagnosis or for monitoring treatment. The test results are available within minutes and are particularly suitable for use in clinical emergency situations and in GP practices.

Cross-reactivity
When tested with the following pathogens, the RapidFor™ H. pylori antigen rapid test showed no cross-reactivity: Candida albicans, Campylobacter jejuni, Clostridium difficile, Escherichia coli, Enterococcus faecalis, Enterobacter aerogenes, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Proteus vulgaris, Proteus mirabilis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella choleraesuis, Salmonella typhi, Salmonella typhimurium, Shigella dysenteriae, Shigella flexneri and Shigella boydii.
